I speak two languages fluently - Afrikaans and English. I am a student of Russian language so I understand the difficulties of learning a foreign language. I am patient and friendly. I have travelled extensively and I am fascinated by the different cultures and languages. I am currently learning French.

Every lesson will include speaking practice - even if you can only say hello. I can help you with a few new words / vocabulary. How about reading a paragraph ? Discussing the more difficult issues in life. Homelessness, volunteering, woman's rights My lessons are full of action. You will speak a lot. I ask questions in a conversational manner.

This was the second time I'd actually tried to speak to someone in Afrikaans (instead of speaking bad Dutch to Afrikaaners!). Corne was a patient listener and gave me plenty of freedom and time to form my thoughts while offering useful words I lacked. Baie dankie. Totsiens!
