Zebo

Very fun! We talked about Halloween and reviewed a story that I read for homework. Definitely recommend!

Great lesson with Zebo! We started with some small talk, and Zebo asked me about my week, what I did yesterday, etc. After indicating that I had some difficulties with my last assignment, I made some suggestions about changing up the lesson work. Zebo was definitely open to trying, which I really appreciated. We also played a game of "checkers" where moving required making up sentences using a specific starting phrase. It was fun and we laughed a lot! We also reviewed the differences between для and за. Zebo is excellent at customizing the lesson based on my input!

Great lesson with Zebo! We started with free talk, which was good to work on output. Next, Zebo had me act as "teacher Gary" and explain the differences between за and для, since I was struggling with them. We also reviewed the sentences that I translated, and then we translated several more sentences. I still can use more practice, but it is getting easier. Zebo is always positive and dedicated to helping me make good progress!

Great lesson with Zebo! We started with small talk about the weather getting colder in autumn. Zebo helped me understand the difference between the personal pronouns and possessive pronouns "него,его; неё, её; etc." because I was getting them wrong especially when combined with prepositions. We've been working on plural nouns/adjectives recently as well, which has been really helpful. Zebo comes up with targeted exercises to work on my problem areas. She always asks what I want to work on next, which I really appreciate!

Great lesson with Zebo! We started with small talk - I talked about getting invited to dinner. After that, Zebo had me retell a story about going to a baseball game with my brother. Next, we reviewed the exercises that I did and we continued doing exercises to practice choosing the right case and declining nouns/pronouns/adjectives properly. I can do nouns and adjectives pretty well, but struggle with the "small words". Still, Zebo is very positive and encouraging. She points out my improvements and places where "you figured that out without my help"!
