I did not think she worked well with younger neurodiverse kids even though we specifically discussed qualifications for this and she said she was a special education teacher. She also used an example about her mom hitting her to teach the letter F, which was bizarre

I really enjoyed Zainab's fun approach. I also want to learn Arabic, so she is the perfect ASL teacher for me. I am looking forward to her next class.

It was very nice meeting Zainab today. She is such a sweet person, always smiling and she came very prepared. Her enthusiasm is unmistakable. When I told her that I know the alphabets and a couple of other signs, she quickly adapted to my level and taught me about the days/weeks/months and talked about a little bit of history behind all of the signs. Then she taught about different colors. What I found truly extraordinary about her was how she made me think of the sign first and then broke down the actual sign for me. It was almost as if I was inventing the signs. Very enjoyable session. Thank you so much! All the best!
