Я как преподаватель
I’m a professional language teacher with over 12 years of experience. Learning languages is one of my main hobbies, and as a teacher I love to share my passion for languages and cultures with others.
I studied Spanish and Education in college. I have a master's degree in literature and I'm currently working on a PhD in Literature and Cultural Studies in the Spanish and Portuguese department of my university in Washington DC.
In my free time I enjoy reading fiction and watching movies/ series on Netflix, especially foreign dramas and thrillers. What about you? Tell me about your favorite book or the last movie that you saw!Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
Due to my busy university schedule, I can only teach intermediate and advanced students who are looking for conversation-based lessons. For these lessons, I usually send an article or YouTube video about a specific topic for the student to view beforehand. During the class, we discuss the topic while making sure to practice important vocabulary or any particular grammatical structures seen in the text or video. I frequently make corrections and offer alternative, more advanced or natural ways to communicate ideas. I write down all corrections for the student to be able to study after class.
