Hi! I’m Michael Robson, a Canadian English teacher from Vancouver. I’ve taught adult learners from around the world, and I’m thrilled to meet you here on iTalki.

In the past I’ve worked in teaching academies with 5-15 students each class (students ranged from every part of the world). I look forward to working with you on your conversation skills to help you in your future endeavours! I have a range of fun topics that should last us for weeks. I am happy to help you with Conversational English, IELTS/CELPIP, and interviews in some industries. I won’t dominate the class with my own voice, and I will encourage you to use as much English as possible!

This was an amazing experience, teaching adult students from all over the world, learning so much about their cultures, in Vancouver, Canada!

Michael is incredibly attentive and has meticulously corrected numerous minor grammar issues, greatly aiding me in speaking more naturally. Furthermore, he has provided me with excellent idiomatic exercises for practice.I am indeed not proficient in using these idioms, but the exercises have been extremely helpful.

It was an amazing conversation in English with a kind, friendly and inspiring teacher! Michael asked me interesting questions on interesting topics and the discussion was really interesting for me in general. It went awesome and I really liked discussing topics. He encouraged me to speak and be active in conversation which is superb! It was tremendous and it was nice to meet him! I wish to see him again soon! Thank you very much!
