Hello! I’m Jin, a certified Korean teacher with 9 years of experience. I’ve taught Korean since 2016 in schools, an immigrant center, and online since 2022. I hold a Master’s degree in Korean Language Education and can communicate in Korean, English, and conversational Spanish. My language level is very weird given my on-and-off self-study, and Hye-jin was patient and understanding. She was able to adapt materials so that we could see where my level was and what I needed to learn and what areas I could skip. It was an amazing experience, and I am looking forward to learning more!

i lost count of the number of lessons I had. 선생님 is so attentive and kind and would adjust her lessons to suit you along the way. you learn not only grammar and vocab, but also practise your listening and speaking with her. short homework would be given after each class as well.

The teacher was very focused and made me feel comfortable throughout the lesson. We discussed the materials and my language goals, which made the class feel personalized and engaging. I really appreciated her attention to detail and encouragement. I feel motivated to continue learning with her.

Even though it was my first session, I feel like I learned a lot. The teacher assessed my current level by asking questions about Korean grammar. Then, we did some guided practice focusing on -텐데 so that I could understand the contexts in which this grammar is used meaningfully. I'm looking forward to our next session.
