I’m Girish! I grew up in South India speaking Kannada, Hindi, and English. Then, I spent time in the US, studying and working in biotech. In 2022, I embarked on an incredible 9-month cycling journey through Colombia and Ecuador, where I learned to speak Spanish fluently.
Currently, I’m cycling through the Himalayas, immersing myself in its diverse cultures, learning new languages, working on farms, learning to make websites, and honing life skills.

My mission is to help you feel confident and comfortable in the languages you’re learning.
With a structured approach, I aim to achieve this in just 20 classes. After only 5 sessions, I guarantee you’ll be able to recognize and read the script of your chosen language.
Another important mission of mine is to support locals and those less fortunate I meet along my travels. Most of my earnings (your fees) go towards helping these families, so you're contributing to their well-being through me.

Today’s class was so much fun! We had so many laughs while learning, and our conversation went from Día de la Hispanidad to my new job, and even to his marathon and lack of sleep 😄. It felt less like a lesson and more like catching up with a good friend — but I still learned a lot!
Always appreciate how relaxed and engaging these classes are. Looking forward to the next one!

I really enjoy my Kannada lessons! Girish-Avare makes every class engaging — we even ended up talking about my Garba & Dandiya party, his adventures in Nepal, marathon in Manali, Le Grand Raid in La Réunion... It always feels like learning with a friend! Grateful for such a great teacher!

Great class as always where I was pudhed to express fully what I did at the weekend, with Girish's encouragements, which I am grateful for, always! Got nice volcabulary out of it useful for talking about my like, and I enjoy particularly the word "bhaasha-shaili" which I find beautiful 😍
