In the first lesson, I try to understand the needs of each student. I make a plan for how I will teach the language. My goal is for the student to be able to speak and understand the language they want to learn. By providing notes, teaching material, and exercises, the student is able to engage in dialogue in a short period of time. Interesting and challenging first lesson. We did some exercises to determine my level and identify my weak spots, and Eirini shared a lot of materials with me. We spoke mostly in Greek, which was great, and I was positively surprised by how much I was able to understand! Overall, I have a great impression and am keen to continue learning with Eirini.
