Julie

Julie continues to be a helpful, wonderful teacher. I appreciate the conversation in French we have in the first half of our lesson, and the grammar exercises we have in the second half. I feel comfortable speaking with her and making mistakes because she provides useful feedback without breaking the flow of the conversation. I'm thankful for my time with Julie every time.

It was another very enjoyable lesson with Julie! For some reason the italki classroom wasn't working for our session so we couldn't connect through the video. However, Julie was flexible and accommodating and was available for 15 minutes longer to make up for the time we lost trying to connect to each other. The lesson itself was productive but easy-going, and I definitely feel like I'm keeping up with my French with Julie!

I appreciate Julie's flexibility and openness in going with the flow during our session. Today it was more conversation focused because I had a lot to say and questions to ask, and we got to the grammar exercises only towards the end. However, Julie was engaged in the conversation and did not try to hurry or force the actual exercises to be completed today. I am grateful to have Julie as my teacher.

For this session, I had to reschedule at the last minute, and Julie was understanding and flexible in doing so. I enjoyed our conversation again and appreciated her positive way of correcting my errors!

I truly enjoy working with Julie - the lesson hour passes by too quickly! The conversation we have in the first half of the class lets me practice my speaking skills, and the second half allows me to focus on grammar with exercises that Julie provides. It's a perfect combination and I'm really happy that I can keep up my French in this way. Julie is very flexible in her style and has plenty of ideas for lesson materials.

Julie is a patient, understanding, and flexible teacher. She listens to my speaking without disrupting and gently correct my grammar/expressions afterwards. There is a natural flow in the lesson where we have a conversation and then move on to the exercises she provides, which I appreciate very much.
