Намасте! Я - Санчита из Лакхнау, города в Северной Индии с богатой и красочной историей и прекрасной синкретической культурой. Я лингвофил, рассказчик, бывший журналист и преподаватель с 15-летним опытом общения на хинди и английском. Я преподаю хинди и английский на всех уровнях. Я считаю, что изучение языка - это как открытие двери в новый, богатый культурный опыт. Оно не может быть полным без понимания социокультурного контекста, в котором язык рос и развивался. В настоящее время я изучаю несколько языков. Я также являюсь опубликованным автором. Мои рассказы и статьи были опубликованы в Hindustan Times (газета), TES Orbit (журнал), Spark (онлайн-журнал).На исходном языке

Мой путь в качестве преподавателя начался с работы в Институте изучения карьеры в 2020 году. Я готовила учеников 10, 11 и 12 классов к вступительным испытаниям в университет. Я наставляла их, помогая улучшить навыки общения и научиться выкладываться на групповых дискуссиях и собеседованиях. Позже, в июне 2022 года, продолжая работать на своей постоянной работе, я присоединилась к сообществу глобальных послов Duolingo в качестве преподавателя. Я проводил занятия в свободное от работы время и регулярно устраивал сессии для слушателей из Европы и США, получая твердые 5 звезд. Мне нравится сотрудничать со своими студентами как с друзьями. Мои занятия проходят в атмосфере открытого и двустороннего общения, с учетом темпов обучения и удобства каждого студента. Я поощряю их задавать вопросы - не только о грамматике, лексике, произношении или других аспектах языка, но и об Индии - ее древнем наследии, культурном богатстве, богатом разнообразии, людях, топографии, истории и месте в современном мире. Я регулярно обращаюсь к студентам за отзывами и предложениями, чтобы при необходимости скорректировать свой стиль преподавания и адаптировать план урока в соответствии с их потребностями. I really enjoyed Sanchita’s class today! We studied the stories of Akbar and Birbal along with the Rajkumar, and it was both fun and engaging. I especially liked learning new words in Farsi and their equivalent in Hindi—it made the class even more interesting and educational. Looking forward to more classes like this!

Today I got my text about an experience at a Korean festival reviewed by Sanchita, and her corrections were super helpful, then some conversation, and a grammar lesson about the verb that confuses me a lot: LAGNA. Thank you so much for your precise explanations!

Sanchita ji is such a fantastic Hindi teacher! She has taught me so much about complex Hindi grammar rules, and always gives relevant readings and activities to practice those rules afterwards. When I am struggling with difficult materials, Sanchita ji pauses the lesson to figure out what is challenging, and then will adjust her methods to support my learning. This is a sign of an adaptable and hard-working teacher who is open to finding new approaches to ensure that students truly learn the material!

Every lesson with Sanchita ji brings so many new insights and knowledge! She designs lessons around countless grammar and vocabulary topics to explain the nuances of Hindi conversation and meanings, and then follows up with additional practice. The homework is always helpful for challenging my understanding of new concepts and then reviewing difficulties and questions. Sanchita ji is an amazing teacher!

Great help with a story from a book I bought in India, that I had I transcripted from Devnagari and tried to translate, which was a good exercise, Sanchita explained the grammar, sometimes difficult in the story which helped me translating the story better. Then I got some grammar exercises, and definitely understand the points better now having worked on them, made mistakes, and got the explanation for them - when to add the pronoun versus when it is not necessary + how to conjugate the verbs in the first and second parts of the sentence - thank you so much Sanchita!
