Hello, my name is Dalexy Montoya Joya. I am a passionate geoscientist with a strong interest in teaching and literature. I hold a major in Geoscience and a minor in Biology from Universidad de los Andes, and I have also completed an oceanography course in the U.S. Besides my scientific career, I enjoy sustainable agriculture and have worked on permaculture and ecotourism projects in Morocco, India, and Spain. I am fluent in Spanish and English, and I am learning Chinese. In my free time, I love reading classic literature and exploring new topics through reading.Показать перевод

As a teacher, I strive to create a dynamic and accessible learning environment for all my students. During my time at the University Sidi Mohamed Ben Abdellah in Morocco, I taught Spanish to medical students, helping them acquire essential medical terminology. This role allowed me to develop leadership skills and discover my passion for teaching. I believe in active and participatory learning, where students feel motivated and engaged. I've been taking beginner Spanish lessons with Dalexy and I look forward to each lesson. She is incredibly patient, kind, and respectful, which makes learning a new language feel comfortable and less intimidating . She always goes at a good pace and explains things very well. I also appreciate that she gives helpful homework after each lesson to reinforce what we've covered—it really helps me retain the material and stay consistent. I highly recommend her to anyone starting their Spanish learning journey!
