Among the many Turkish tutors I've had, Merve is one of the ones I enjoy the most. First off, she speaks at a comfortable speed: straining to understand a tutor causes stress that in turn lowers your own quality of speaking. Second, she is smart as a whip, which makes it easy to discuss any kind of topics from fun, unusual angles. Finally, the fact that she has been living outside of Türkiye gives her perspective on her native culture, which leads her to express interesting and balanced views, rather than dogmatic ones, as can happen with someone who has never stepped outside their country.
