Melissa is a fantastic teacher, her conversations are interesting and I would definitely recommend her!

Great first lesson with Melissa! We started by talking about why/how/when I learned French, and what my goals would be. We also did a "break the ice" activity where we asked each other questions. I tried to ask and respond in French as much as possible. Melissa has a good sense of when to correct my speaking mistakes and when to not interrupt the flow!

Une autre magnifique séance avec Melissa. Elle a beaucoup de patience et on a parlé de comment je peux améliorer mon français. En plus, j'ai compris l'expression « j'ai fait d'une pierre deux coups ». Je me suis rendu compte que la clé pour réussir l'examen TEF de la section B. Il faut pratiquer assez d'argumentation et des improvisations. On doit parler très spontanément. Melissa mérite cinq étoiles.

Excellent premier leçon avec Melissa ! Elle est très encourageante et agréable, et on a identifié les points à aborder à l'avenir. C'était très facile de parler avec elle, et je la recommande vivement.

Great lesson with Melissa! We talked about learning/studying things we never used. We also talked about how words change over time, and how some words fall out of favor. We discussed free speech and social media. It was a very interesting conversation, and Melissa is encouraging me to speak French even more!

Great lesson with Melissa! We talked about the weather, since it is quite warm for both of us recently. Melissa explained the equivalent in French for "rare", "medium-rare", etc. We also talked a lot about food - including barbecue, Philly cheesesteaks and croque-monsieur. We talked about people getting used to bad weather. Melissa is interested and easygoing, which makes her lessons relaxed and enjoyable!
