Hello, I am an experienced teacher currently working with college students, and I have also taught high school students. Throughout my career, I have provided private lessons in various language courses. During this time, I have developed strong communication skills, both interpersonal and intrapersonal. My passion for teaching comes from a deep love for my native language: its melodic sweetness, its warmth and traditions, and the rich character that make it one of the oldest languages in Europe. My teaching style focuses on creating a comfortable environment where students feel free to express their opinions and use their language skills with confidence. Each lesson is tailored to the student's needs and the specific area they wish to focus on—whether it's reading, writing, speaking, or listening. Additionally, Italki offers me an excellent opportunity to teach both the Gheg and Tosk dialects to learners who want a deeper and more authentic connection with the Albanian language.

As an adult learner, it was critical that I find a teacher who would be adaptive to my skill level and schedule, while also keeping lessons productive and positive. Florentina has been a wonderful fit! She comes prepared and ready for class, is patient and flexible, and keeps lessons relaxed, but still challenging. I look forward to my classes!

Great first lesson. Florentina clearly has experience in teaching the language to beginners and was prepped from the very beginning to start a lesson.

I have had several lessons with Florentina, and found her to be unfailingly organised and encouraging. She is knowledgeable too: we use a textbook in our lessons, but she uses it skilfully as a resource, not a straitjacket.
