Enrique

I am really enjoying my lessons with Enrique! His lessons are thoughtfully designed with conversation, grammar exercises, and critical engagement with art and literature. His knowledge of the arts is a huge asset to him as an educator, both of language and of literature and culture. Very fun and dynamic. I highly highly recommend!

The only word that comes to my mind to describe my lesson with Enrigue is 'exceptional'. We talked about so many topics, went all round the world and exchanged many ideas opinions and experiences. Excellent! 👍

Enrique is kind, patient, and intelligent. I wanted to have a better understanding of cultures in Latin America through literature, and Enrique is an expert not just in the material but also in facilitating discussion. I've now had more then ten lessons with Enrique, and I finally get around to writing a review -- sorry! This review is coming from someone who's around a B2 in Spanish and who knows theory sufficient to speak at an ever higher level, so I won't discuss his capacities as a teacher of the formal structures of the Spanish language -- my impression is that he has some command of them, maybe even an excellent one, but I wouldn't know. However, as a conversation partner, which is what I wanted, he is incredible: Patient, personable, and caring. His love for and understanding of languages, ideas, and people allows him to fluently and consistently make classes interesting, familiar, and rewarding; I am grateful to have him as a teacher and look forward to taking many more classes with him.
