I am a Swahili teacher from Kenya with a passion for connecting language to real life. Whether you are learning to speak with loved ones, preparing for travel, exploring culture, or settling into a Swahili-speaking community, I’m here to make your journey smooth, engaging, and practical.
My lessons blend conversation, culture, and everyday context so if you're into pets, food, history, or exploring new places, we’ll have a lot to talk about. My lessons will help you learn how to use Swahili naturally, whether you're talking to family, greeting neighbours, or just ordering your favourite Swahili dish.

Mwalimu Grace is an excellent teacher. She is patient, well-prepared and knowledgeable. During the first lesson, she evaluated my level (~B2) and we came up with some plans for future lessons. Today we read a BBC Swahili article together. She had a list of tricky vocabulary from the article to look over prior to reading the article. During the reading, she was very helpful in explaining things I didn't understand. She used both Swahili and English in her explanations as necessary. I highly recommend giving Mwalimu Grace a try.
