Tay

Tay is a very good teacher. We had a few lessons and worked especially on pronunciation. I can already see an improvement. I highly recommend this teacher.

It was a great lesson, looking forward to the next one as per my needs.

这是跟Tay老师上的第二节课。本来打算买他的课程包，但上完这节课后打消了这个念头。几个问题：一，老师每次说话都伴随着很大的电流声，不知道是平台还是设备原因，导致我好几次根本听不清他说话，不得不一次又一次地请他重复；二，时不时玩手机，有点不职业；三，老师全程心不在焉，可以明显感觉到他对我讲的东西毫无兴趣，摄像头都只露半张脸，有时甚至从屏幕完全消失，让我对着空气讲话。最后时间还没到就找个理由草草结束。总之，不推荐。

I’m not entirely satisfied with the lesson. The teacher arrived about five minutes late and finished at the regular time without offering to extend it. I also had the impression that he might have been doing other things on his computer during the class, which I mentioned — and afterwards the situation improved. The conversation itself was quite pleasant, but it felt a bit lacking in engagement. Perhaps with regular lessons it would get better, but unfortunately the first impression wasn’t the strongest.

Tay is very easy to talk to, and he’s been helping me with some pronunciation issues. So far, so good!

Tay老师的课很轻松有趣。我们讨论了很多话题，都是以比较放松的方式。他还纠正了我一些单词的用法，比如scene, landscape, senenary还有understandable, understood, etc. 他很了解中国学生容易犯的发音错误，比如pool / wool我以前就不知道这两个单词的发音原来是不同的。总之很感谢老师的指导。
