!! For classes before Sep 15th please send a message !! I'm Verena, 29 years old and I'm a German teacher from Austria. I'm new to italki but I've been teaching German as a foreign language full time since finishing my Master's in 2020. One of the reasons why I became a teacher is that I love learning languages myself. I speak English, French, Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian and I am currently self-teaching myself a bit of Italian. This is why I'm perfectly able to relate to any struggles you might have and give you the best learning advice. Besides languages, I love nature, travelling, yoga, dancing, literature, arts, outdoor activities, food & cats!

Verena is a great teacher! She is calm and always interesting to talk to. She's always ready to help with a missing word or phrase. Our lessons are well balanced, with a mix of conversation and grammar or homework review. I'm really glad to have found such a great German teacher!

Verena is a wonderful teacher. I had been looking for a German teacher on iTalki for a long time, and I finally found someone who truly stands out.
