Hi, I'm Piera! I was born and raised in Brazil living in Europe! I've traveled to many countries such as Greece, Italy, Germany, Spain, among others... In this international experience I went through several situations where I had to learn a language quickly because I already had a trip scheduled... And I also had the experience of teaching Portuguese and English voluntarily while I was in Europe in a social project for two years! (It was incredible) From there I discovered my passion for teaching and developed my method by combining my native Portuguese with my teaching skills and understanding the needs of those who need to learn as quickly as possible! About my classes: My teaching style is totally personalized to my student's needs, we practice a lot of conversation, without too much grammar and I always like to teach everyday words and slang that you don't learn in books! (You can even pass yourself off as a native haha)

Today I did a class of reading with Piera and I really enjoyed the reading lesson as it made me learn more vocabulary words and also gave me the confidence to understand the language at a better level. Piera was very patient to listen to my paragraph reading and then the translations in English to explain what I read in Portuguese. I would surely recommend other students to try this lesson with Piera as it will improve your language skills immensely. Thanks for the lovely lesson!
