My name is Alexander. I am a Russian and Ukrainian native speaker and a professional Russian and Ukrainian teacher with over 10 years experience. I have graduated from Donetsk National University and have a master's degree in teaching languages. I taught on Italki few years ago, but it was a part-time job. Alexander and I had a basic conversation to determine my Russian knowledge during this trial lesson. He was very patient and thorough as he made corrections and provided explanations. He provided a good analysis of my current skill level, and now I have a better understanding of how we can proceed with my learning curriculum. Looking forward to the next lesson!

Sasha and I were able to establish my level of Russian and he was able to design a lesson that was engaging and fun. We learnt some fundamentals and also some grammar rules. I look forward to continuing my Russian learning journey with him.
