Cheng

Cheng did a fantastic job of reviewing the information from the last lesson and very carefully and strategically supported my pronunciation, which I find very difficult. Cheng was very supportive and patient throughout the whole lesson and I already look forward to my next lesson: thank you Cheng!

Cheng is a kind and patient teacher. I especially appreciate that he corrects my Chinese by saying back to me what I have just said but using correct grammar and vocabulary. I take those opportunities to repeat the corrected version. It’s also helpful that he types notes as we talk so that I can have visual cues while working on my speaking. I feel comfortable asking him questions and asking for clarification as a part of my learning process during my lessons with him. Thank you, Cheng!

Lyu is a great teacher. I believe I'm making huge progress on my Chinese after starting having classes with him.

A very present teacher that does not judge for mistakes, patiently explains and provides extra content for more context. He's able to make a very intimidating language look accessible :)
