Raul was very easy to communicate with & also very encouraging. I don't always get positive feedback, not that I get negative feedback. But hearing details of how I speak or how I sound like helps me understand what level I am really at & where I should aim for. I look forward to having more lessons with Raul.

Tuve una gran clase con Raúl! Hablamos sobre diferentes y interesantes temas para poder practicar mis habilidades en español. Es muy paciente conmigo y en el mismo tiempo se comunica con entusiasmo. Me gustaría aprender más y mejorar mi español con él!

I'm glad that Raul is able to give me immediate feedback, as I wasn't expecting any. It was challenging to explain a part of my own history/culture whereas I normally learn vocabulary (as with other tutors) and may focus on specific subjects and talk about what I just learned. Raul asked a lot of questions which I liked, as it was something familiar to me (my own culture and history) but now I had to do it all in Spanish. I learned quickly the new vocabulary and really enjoy this method, very laid back and casual so I feel less stressed and therefore can just concentrate on just communicating.

Super friendly and patient!! took notes of all words I had issues with and sent them to me at the end of the class. Definitely recommend! :)

Great teacher, very clear and friendly to chat to

Recently, I had a few customers who did not speak any English at all. I struggled to communicate with them and felt very frustrated by my inability to answer their questions. Raúl taught me a lot of vocabulary (including technical terms that related specifically to my field of interest) and gave me valuable feedback and corrections so that I could communicate more effectively. He was extremely helpful and easy to talk to. I feel much more confident and capable of helping my Spanish-speaking customers thanks to Raúl's patient guidance and encouragement. He's an excellent teacher who is also cheerful, easygoing, and kind. The time passed very quickly!
