Musa Ceesay

I've completed my first four lessons with Musa, and I'm very happy with it. I'm not anymore beginner in wolof, but at some intermediary level, which is sometimes a challenge for a teacher because they cannot just start with the very basics. But Musa does a great got in offering a lot of time for conversation, helping out with vocabulary I'm missing and explaining the deeper differences between different conjugations in wolof and other grammatical forms. And the most important, he is always patient, friendly and very positive-minded.

Phenomenal class as always. Musa’s classes are so much more than just learning a language. He is going above and beyond educating me and helping me reclaim my long lost culture, through sacred storytelling, micro-lessons on Senegambian culture, sharing meaningful proverbs, insights on Wolof vs Mandinka cuisine, the list goes on!!!! Makes me feel at ease and happy to learn

This was my first class and I enjoyed it. We started with the basics. Musa speaks very clearly and is easy to understand. We took examples from the pdf file as well as make up personal examples. He provides different ways a native speaker will ask you a question or answer you, preparing you for various scenarios. I felt very comfortable learning Wolof with him and he was willing to answer any questions I had.

Musa is a great teacher. He is enthusiastic and gives lots of examples. I will definitely book more lessons with him.
