I was able to learn more words and concepts from Say. Even though I stumbled through making Korean sentences, she was able to help teach me the correct way to speak by explaining what I got wrong and how to fix it. I appreciate how we were able to practice the concepts learned today with speaking in simple Korean sentences. I also appreciate her patience in helping me to understand Korean

This class, we were able to practice verbs that connects a sentence to "I think" and "I believe". I was able to learn other verb forms as well and to practice with Say by talking about the culture in the US and Korea. Although the class is becoming more difficult, I am able to learn more from the mistakes that I make due to how Say is able to correct and explain the right way to express that thought in Korean

With this lesson, I was able to express myself more. With Say's help, I was about to form more sentences with her guidance and feedback on the mistakes that were made and an explanation as to why the grammar is the way that it is. I feel as though I was able to improve my Korean with Say's help and speaking guidance, and now she's is challenging me to write more to express myself more.

With each class, even though the difficulty is increasing, Say is still able to be patient with me by explaining the difference in the concepts that are being expressed in each sentences. Now, I am beginning to understand how sentences are formed in Korean. With that developing, I am now able to understand how the different ideas are expressed and the culture nuances are within the two languages.

For today's class, I was able to practice responding to question from last week's vocabulary list of words that we practiced. I felt like I stumbled a lot and made a lot of mistakes, but say was able to help to understand my mistakes and how to improve on speaking and writing better Korean. I truly appreciate her kindness and patience with me as I struggle to learn Korean.

I was able to use the Korean that I've learned with Say to talk about American food and culture and to ask about her Korean food and culture. Even though the classes are challenging and mentally demanding, it is rewarding to have a light bulb click to where you're able to understand the culture by understanding the language. With Say's caring and patient help, she is able to help to bridge that gap by adjusting to your learning style.
