Sophie is very attentive. Lucky to have found her. She truly does her best to provide constructive feedback on the go during and after each lesson. The class agenda includes articles, readings, conversation, hearing and writing. All in a very productive system in order to improve language skills.

Sophie is very flexible with her teaching, asking me what I would like to learn and what modalities I want to use for my learning. I find her very understanding and able to take the lesson in whatever direction I would like. This particular lesson, I had prepared learning the futur simple, so I asked if we could discuss my future plans for a trip using that tense. I told her my plans, using futur simple, and she was able to correct any mistakes I made and to give me vocabulary I lacked as we went along. She provides exercises for me each week, and we use what I learn for the next week's lesson. She has also provided me with news articles, and she is willing to discuss those or books or short stories that I have read or French tv and films. I enjoy my discussions with Sophie and all that she has to offer as learning aides, as I continue to learn French with her. She is an excellent teacher and always makes me feel good about what I have learned. I highly recommend her as a tutor!

Sophie is very good at explaining grammar and differences between expressions. She is also extremely flexible and able to teach using whatever methods would be best for the student. She allows her students to direct how they would like to learn. I am excited to come to the lesson prepared with questions. She never makes me feel uncomfortable with my mistakes. She manages to correct me without making me feel embarrassed. I am very happy to have found her and recommend her highly. For the italki website, we had a problem with the video and audio today and had to use an alternate method for the lesson--please check into this tech problem. It was not a problem, because Sophie was able to send me a different type of link to use, through a google doc. She also added 5 minutes to the end of the lesson to make up for the lost time. However, this is a tech problem for italki to check. I hope it will work well next time.
