モモコさん is always very cheerful, has up to date topics ready at disposal and is very easy to talk to. Not once have I felt stressed or uncomfortable during our conversation. That makes me look forward to every lesson we have. She always provides corrections or a more natural style of phrasing without interrupting the flow of conversation. Most of the time the new way of saying it leads to another interesting conversation. These corrections will then also be provided by her to incorporate into your own studies if so desired. Momoko is a great teacher! She is patient, fun to talk to and easy to get along with! I appreciate that she writes out how to say things during the lesson and sends the notes dor review afterwards. She has experience living abroad too, she she can knows how to bridge cultural gaps and how to explain Japanese culture. Momoko also thinks of topics and questions to ask, so the conversation doesn't get awkward. I highly recommend Momoko!

Momoko is a great teacher. She's able to talk about a variety of topics and ask questions that encourage you to elaborate on things you've shared, which is great for speaking practice. She also speaks good English and is able to easily pick up on what I want to say, to teach me the natural or more nuanced expressions in Japanese, correcting any mistakes in grammar in the process. She's responsive and prepares materials or speaking topics/passages for lessons, which is great for those who need a bit more structure, but is open to just having free conversation too; and sends lesson notes with all the points covered at the end of class. All my lessons with her have been great. Super thankful! 🙏
