Hi, I am Hannah. My Korean name is Hye-Rin. I grew up and studied in South Korea for most of my life. I have been living in Seattle for 4 years. I am currently a student studying business. I brought my dog with me from Korea 4 years ago. I like hiking and exploring nature, and meeting new people. One of my biggest interests is to learn languages and other cultures. As a bilingual speaker, I know learning can be challenging from the start, just like you! To me, the most important thing in learning a language is pronunciation. Korean has a unique sound system. I can give you easy, clear guidance how to pronounce like a native Korean using International Phonetic Alphabet and materials. Also, I would like to ask about your proficiency and goals for all subjects(writing, reading, listening, and speaking) and customize the study plan according to your preferred time frame. The session & teaching style depend on you. Before the class, I would like to talk about our plan for the sessions out asking your preferred studying material, time frames, and targeted subjects such as speaking or reading. I can pick the best textbook to achieve your goal, or I can share the dialogues or materials in advance of the class. I'm so thankful for all the work and preparation Hannah puts into each lesson. I'm a very visual learner so seeing everything written out is super helpful. And thank you for providing homework after every class so I can keep integrating what I've learned!

Thank you so much for another amazing lesson! Hannah is doing so much work in the lesson to keep me talking and learning and she’s using subjects that I am passionate about. I’m really grateful to have found a wonderful Korean teacher!

My first class with Hannah was really fun! She made me feel super comfortable and was very encouraging. We talked about my learning goals and she showed examples of her work with other students to give me an idea of her teaching style. I’m so impressed with the work she put into our first lesson. I can tell she genuinely cares about teaching Korean and helping her students with fun exercises. I’ll definitely be booking again! 감사합니다! 다음에 수업 만나요!
