This evening was about my fifth class with Kevin and it was a great lesson. He gave me a personal story, pitched at about my level but still challenging me. Any areas I wasn’t sure he helped me out with the vocab. After just one lesson with Kevin I felt more confident in speaking and today I felt my listening and comprehension has improved as well. I also discovered that Kevin began a career as a teacher of Chinese at a cram school in Taiwan, which says something about his ability to teach Chinese.

Kevin is easy to get along with and creates a relaxed and comfortable learning environment, which makes it much easier to practise speaking Chinese without feeling nervous about making mistakes.
