Hi! I’m Ehwa — a Korean tutor and short-film director.
I teach real-life Korean for learners who know the basics but feel stuck when speaking. My classes focus on natural expressions used in shows, music, films, and daily life. I create all worksheets myself and give direct but friendly feedback on nuance, tone, and pronunciation.
I directed the short film A Student’s Fainting (어느 학생의 기절), and I also run film-talk sessions for learners who enjoy Korean cinema. From Park Chan-wook to Bong Joon-ho and beyond, I’m building a series of director-focused film talks for students who want deeper cultural and emotional insight.

I began teaching by helping Korean students who struggled with English. Many of them were not only weak in the language but also felt fear and pressure whenever they studied. Through steady guidance, I helped them rebuild confidence step by step. Those experiences made me realize that language learning is not just about grammar or scores—it is about confidence and support.
I don’t force one method on everyone. Instead, I try to understand each learner and guide them clearly and patiently. My role is not just to correct, but to encourage and help students feel confident in their language journey. I bring the same values into my Korean lessons today. Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I create my own context-based worksheets so you can understand not just what to say, but when and why Koreans say it.
Every class is built around one natural expression, expanded through conversation, listening, and cultural examples.
