I have taken a few classes with Meijie and have really enjoyed her teaching style. She is very patient and encouraging, and she explains concepts clearly and in a way that is easy to understand. After each class, she provides a helpful summary of what we covered so I can review the material on my own. She also begins each class with a short review of material from the previous class, which has been especially helpful for reinforcing what I’ve learned. Meijie creates a very positive and relaxed learning environment. I feel like I am making a lot of progress, and I always look forward to her classes. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a patient, supportive, and effective teacher.

She tailors lessons to my needs, regularly reviews previous material, and provides plenty of real-life examples. Meijie is an amazing teacher who does a great job of naturally weaving conversation and role-playing into vocabulary and grammar lessons. I feel like I’m constantly building on what I already know while also learning practical Chinese that I can actually use in everyday life. She makes the lessons really engaging and enjoyable, and I always feel like I’m making progress.
