I had a fabulous lesson with Tom on expressions imagées (figurative expressions)! As a C1-level learner, I'm always looking to improve my French, and at this level, it's more about the nuances. His method of varied repetition provided lots of different examples to understand how a single expression shifts with context. I thought I knew "ce n'est pas la mer à boire," but I left with a much deeper sense of its range. He's patient, well-prepared, and open to feedback. I highly recommend Tom. His teaching style and methods would work well at any level, and he's open to adapting lessons to what you need. :)
