Lessons with Kate are really fun and engaging. She works with a great deck for beginners and moves very smoothly through simple, practical vocabulary and phrases. One quickly learns how to buy a few items in the store, exchange greetings, etc. Kate's very kind, patient, witty and funny and will make you feel very relaxed and comfortable throughout the class. Excellent teacher!

A very interesting conversation on current and historical Macedonian issues, in both Macedonian (the teacher) and Croatian (the student). Having had some previous experience with Macedonian language, I found Kate easy to understand and follow. Apart from being a perfect language partner, Kate is also very interesting as a person simply to talk to. I hope to continue in the (near) future. Strongly recommended. :)

I took lessons with Kate to improve my conversational Macedonian and highly recommend her! She is engaging, energetic, and does an excellent job of of keeping the conversation flowing naturally while correcting my mistakes in a helpful way. She uses practical, real-life examples and taught me many colloquial expressions that would not be found in the dictionary. I also enjoyed learning more about Macedonian culture through her lessons.
