About Me
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, and my family roots are in Newfoundland & Labrador, a province on Canada’s east coast. After living in Toronto until the age of 7, my family returned to Newfoundland, where I grew up. Experiencing life in two distinct regions of Canada, each with its own dialects and cultural nuances, has given me a deep understanding of Canadian English and culture, which I bring into my teaching.
Interests
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my wife, making charcuterie, listening to music, watching TV shows, and savouring a good cup of coffee or craft beer. I’m also passionate about traveling and exploring history.Показать перевод

My aim is to help you practice English as much as you need. I believe a great teacher listens carefully, so I’ll focus on understanding your strengths and areas for improvement. After completing my education, I worked in various roles in Canada, including construction, cleaning, and five years as a cook. In 2016, I began teaching English after getting married. I highly recommend Shane as a CELPIP instructor. I have extensive experience with different teachers before the exam. I started my preparation a year ago, and my initial result wasn’t very high. Only Shane truly helped me improve it. Moreover, he gave me a lot of personalized advice based on my skills and abilities. I’m very grateful for the engaging lessons and the knowledge I gained!
