Hi! I'm an Italian teacher coming from Northern-Italy.
I hold a Master's Degree in Foreign Languages and Cultural Tourism. I also hold the DITALS Certification granted by the University for Foreigners of Siena, which certifies the possession of theoretical and practical competences in teaching Italian as a second or foreign language.
I've been working as a teacher for years and I've worked with many kind of students with very different needs and background, from immigrants and teenagers to seniors and researchers.
In my spare time I mostly learn languages, read or cuddle my cat.Показать перевод

I am a friendly and enthusiastic teacher passionate about languages, teaching, and learning.
I have been learning languages for years and I know the struggle when it comes to memorizing new vocabulary, new grammar rules and pronouncing new sounds. Learning a language is an extraordinary journey, but I know that it is easy to get frustrated when the results do not tie in with our expectations.

My method to teach and learn languages is pretty simple: engaging in active learning activities as much as possible. This kind of activities are mentally demanding and cannot be sustained for long. However, their efficacy is remarkable. My students are active participants of the learning process, which becomes fun, challenging and extremely effective. I also believe that games can be super effective to learn languages, that's why I often play language games with my students.Мой учебный материал

I am having so much fun! Lorenzo is a good nurturer as well as detailed instructor. He is allowing the Italian skills I have come in and adding to them as questions come up. Really super teacher!

Lorenzo is always super patient especially as we do prepositions - which can be very difficult. And Lorenzo helps explain why each preposition is used for each difference example!
