I am someone curious about this world since I was little. Foreign language is THE TOOL which helps me to open different doors to this wonderful world.
Language for me is not only used to exchange information but also an expression of ways of thinking. That's why it's so fascinating to meet my students from so many different countries and with different backgrounds here on Italki.
I love the sparkles in my students' eyes when they find the charme of Chinese language and that's the very moment that I realize how I love teaching and sharing my language to everyone.Показать перевод

After my master degree in Education, I became a Chinese teacher in a high school in Mulhouse, a city in eastern France. And that's when I registered on Italki to teach Chinese online. Even though I left the high school in 2018, my teaching online has never stopped.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
For every student, I tend to personnalise their learning programme: for daily communication, learning characters, HSK preparation, reading exercise, etc. I am fluent in English and French and try to give them examples in real life to learn how to use the language.
You can always register our lessons for later review. I will give you dialogues or links for learning materials etc. And to learn to write, I will share my ipad screen so that you can have a vivid explanation for characters.Мой учебный материал

I think my favorite thing about Emi's classes is her enthusiasm. Emi very clearly loves to teach, and her love of teaching makes learning with her a pleasure. Emi is a wonderful teacher. She is patient and flexible, and a pleasure to spend time with. She is very encouraging, and her lessons are well planned and thorough. She has not only adjusted our lesson plans to my learning goals, but also to my interests! I look forward to our classes every week, and always come away from our meetings excited to learn more.
I am also very impressed with Emi's English. I have had some wonderful language teachers in the past, but they would unfortunately struggle to explain grammar or understand my questions — this has not been the case with Emi! I feel very comfortable speaking with her, knowing that if I can't explain something in Chinese, she can help me in English to achieve my goals.
I really can't stress enough how wonderful and welcoming a teacher she is, and would recommend her to everyone!

Emi Li is very nice and easy to talk to. I feel very excited now that I started taking classes with her. She can lead the class in Chinese only, but she can also provide explanations in English if needed, which is great. She seems interested in the conversations we have and it’s very encouraging to me. I leave each class with new vocabulary to learn. I’m looking forward to working with this teacher more.

It's time to write a review for one of the best Mandarin Chinese teachers out there. Emilie is super helpful and flexible. Her lessons are highly dynamic and fast-paced. She can teach in both English and French and always has loads of examples to offer, so that you can get a really good idea of how you can use any given word. Your Chinese will definitely feel more natural and less "bookish" if you take lessons with Emilie! 👍
