Carmen is a great teacher. i like that we do a variety of exercises, listening, describing, synonyms, antonyms, grammer lessons, etc. She always comes prepared with lots of interesting material, and I have fun and learn a lot!

Carmen is an outstanding teacher. She is not easy, but makes me work hard. I've learned more from Carmen in a few months than from years with other teachers.

Carmen lives in Caracas, Venezuela. Today was not my first lesson with her. She's highly intelligent and is well prepared. I'm sure that she give me much more than the hour I'm with her as she must spend a lot of time preparing the material and videos she presents to me during our one hour class. If there's any aspect of Spanish grammar you want to study, she's the one. I wanted to talk to her about the changes in government there some months ago as well as the recent earthquakes. Carmen is a simply amazing teacher!

I want to explain just what type of class or lesson this was. I already can carry on a basic conversation in Spanish and wanted to learn more about Venezuela as there is so much happening there. I went on italki and found Carmen and set up a time to meet with her today. I explained that I'd like an overview of Venezuela, the history, the economy, the political situation, and the different areas of interest there. I'm not sure if I've ever used the term, "blown away," but I understand its meaning. Well, today I was blown away by the presentation Carmen gave me. She came prepared with a slide type presentation complete with so many photos and information about her country. If you have any interest in the affairs of Venezuela and want to learn more about that country, then book a class with Carmen Montero. I can't imagine that you'd be disappointed. Don't wait.
