Hi, everyone! I'm Brittany, and I want to welcome you to “Theatre & English”. I’m an actor and director from the United States, but I grew up in Japan and Germany. I love performing in classical plays like Shakespeare and ancient Greek dramas, and I'm currently working towards my goal of acting for film and television! In addition to acting and teaching on italki, I also run a painting and cleaning business with my mom and sister. We love making peoples' homes look beautiful! In my free time, you can find me exercising, having dance parties in my living room with my two nephews, watching a great Netflix series, and practicing my German language skills.

I love laughing with my students and getting to know them on a personal level! 😀 STUDENTS: My lessons are designed for ADULTS in levels B1-C2. 🎭 MATERIALS: All materials will be provided for you through Google Drive. If you can't access Google, please let me know so I can send you PDF versions of the materials. 🗓️ SCHEDULE: I post my teaching schedule one month at a time. The days and times listed on my schedule are the only days and times I have available. 🚫 CLASSROOM POLICIES: If you miss a class, or if you cancel a lesson in less than 24 hours before your lesson begins, you will still be charged full payment for the lesson.

BEGINNING I always begin our lessons with, "How are you? How was your week/weekend?" Feel free to bring videos or photos to share what you've been up to! MIDDLE Then, we'll dive into the main focus of our lesson: a scene or monologue, poem or short story, or a fantastic conversation! All students have a private folder on the Google Drive. This is where we'll keep track of our lessons, and where I can add personalized materials for you! END At the end of our lesson, I'll send you notes and homework in italki chat. ** BONUS: Just for being my student, you’ll receive my FREE monthly newsletters featuring articles about theatre, poetry, and American culture, games, contests, and more!

I was completely surprised by the big smile of Brittany just at the beginning of the lesson! She was so enthusiastic, welcoming, warm and dynamic that I have really appreciated! We have practiced a script and she corrected my pronounciation and she answered all of my questions about vocabulary giving me practical exemples. I recommend her 200000/100 % :) And of course I will book more lessons because her method is engaging and useful! Thanks Brittany! :)

Brittany is a perfect combination of a bubbly and fun personality with the organization and accuracy necessary to be an excellent teacher. She also has a %110 dedication to her students and it shows that theater is her passion. I definitely recommend her classes!
