I always enjoy my classes with Karlis. She is always very well organised, recalling what we covered in previous lessons and identifying areas where I could do with some improvement. Her grammar and comprehension classes are well prepared. After an explanation of the theory, she has examples and exercises prepared to build and test my knowledge of the topic presented. Her classes are structured with a range of language skills to improve my Spanish - listening, reading and spoken Spanish are all common. Karlis is very approachable, patient and encouraging during her lessons which always take place in a relaxed atmosphere. I am learning far more than I would do through my own independent study thanks to her support. She is a tutor I would thoroughly recommend.

Karlis is amazing. Every lesson we read different articles and discuss them. Today she had me translate a simple article into Spanish. This was challenging, but was very rewarding and something I hadn't had to do before. Being forced to translate an article on the spot in front of your teacher was a cool experience and one I look forward to in the future. Karlis has quickly become my main teacher, thank you Karlis!

Karlis is an excellent teacher. I select her grammar lessons and I am happy to say that I am super impressed with what she teaches in a class. Today Karlis taught me various uses of the subjunctive, which is a huge step forward for me!
