Hello! My name is Jelena and I am a professional Italian and Spanish Teacher. I graduated from the Faculty of Philology in Belgrade , and I have a master studies degree in Applied Linguistics. I started to do private lessons years ago, and I discovered I love it! Then I started to teach online in 2017. I had students from all over the world, and I have experience in teaching Italian, Spanish, English and Serbian to students of all ages and levels. I always try to make student feel comfortable, so I always listen their requirements and preferences. I have so much material that we can use for learning, so it's always student's choice. With some students I worked for several years and saw their progress from comletely beginner to being able to speak only in the target language.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
Depending on student's preferences we choose to focus on grammar, conversation, culture, some specific topic, or anything student is interested in. I always suggest full immersion in language we learn, so we can use everything from movies, music, recipes, artcles, ecc. SInce grammar is also important, I try to do half lesson grammar/book and half just conversation and practice. I also suggest individual work and practice, homework or other task I can give you if you have time for it.Мой учебный материал

A great first lesson with Jelena. She had excellent resources that she introduced at an appropriate pace, and tackled the issue of pronunciation immediately. Jelena is a warm and patient teacher and I look forward to more lessons with her.

My daughter is very happy with Jelena! They talk about all sorts of things like sports, traveling, books and hobbies. Whenever my daughter encounters difficult grammar rules in Italian, Jelena will adjust the lesson to her needs and explain patiently. She uses fun materials and small homework assignments for extra practise, but there’s never any pressure. All in all we are really really satisfied!

Jelena is great and very adaptable to the specific student she is teaching. She comes to the class prepared with a plan, but is also open to hearing your ideas and answering your questions throughout the lesson. 10/10!
