Michela Badii

I have now had 6 lessons with Michela. She is SUCH a patient teacher! She is really helping me learn, and answers all of my questions. I still feel slow and clumsy, but she is so encouraging. I feel like I am back in school, but in the best way. I highly recommend her for someone who REALLY wants to study Italian, and not just casually play around with it. Lei è una vera professoressa! 😊

She is truly the italian queen of italki. Her full agenda and loyal students say everything about her teaching. It is hard to get a spot in her calendar, but when having class with her time goes by so fast. If you can plan your agenda ahead of time, I recommend her for all levels. Also, she can speak English and French fluently so she can teach in both languages.

Michela is uniquely able to align herself with a student's innate learning style. I always look forward to my classes with her as a way to learn as well as feel uplifted. She is the highlight of my week.

Michela has a sixth sense about language. When I struggle to express a nuanced thought she is able to both cognitively and emotionally ascertain precisely what it is I'm trying to say. This is a rarity. Her humor and her empathy are a winning combination which augments her obvious intellect. Finally, she has an ocean of patience for me, far more than any instructor with whom I've previously worked. Her ability as an instructor is unrivaled, and I cannot recommend her highly enough.

È stato molto interessante parlare di cibo, incluse le frattaglie! Non sapevo che si mangiasse la milza, tanto meno in Sicilia! Invece ho descritto una volta quando ho mangiato haggis in Scozia.
