Hi, I'm Carolina, from Brazil, living in Lisbon, and I’m an Eng/Port teacher. I have a language degree and I’ve been teaching ESL for 10 years now. I’m also a dancer and like talking about everything, especially languages, games, dancing, cooking and books. I know it's hard to learn a new language since I also study and speak other langs.

I work mainly with adults and I focus mostly on speaking during classes, but I also work on the other skills and we can personalize your lessons according to your goals, whether it be speaking, listening, reading or writing. It can be preparing for an exam, for a trip, making friends, etc.

I finished my studied later at a different university because I moved to a different state in Brazil where I finished my major in Portuguese and English language and literature. I am a beginner of Portuguese for 4 months. My motivation to learn Portuguese is just for fun, Carolina is very patient, there is no pressure on me, we have lessons in a pleasant atmosphere, and I feel that I have improved a lot.

Had a perfect lesson, was really helpful. Empathic, friendly and polite teacher with a very warm and soft voice, easy to understand. She explains everything very good and slow, the topics were very interesting. I enjoyed the class very much and I highly recommend her.
