As always, Yuri-san has been endlessly patient with me. I feel encouraged to learn Japanese more and further.

Yuri-san is a great teacher. I enjoy her lessons very much and I feel that we have a good rapport and can talk about anything. Yuri-san is also understanding when I make mistakes and helps me to build my confidence in learning and speaking Japanese. I love my lessons with Yuri-san. She's really good at explaining Japanese grammar, even when it's super confusing. You can tell she works hard to find the best way to make things clear. Yuri-san is an incredible teacher, no doubt about it. And the best part today? The chit chat we have! Today, we talked about typhoons. It's awesome to share stories and discover new things about each other's cultures. Our lessons are always a good time! Thank you Yuri-san!

今日、ユリさんと日本語の書き方についていろいろ話しました。 たとえば「踏切」は、「踏切」「踏み切り」「踏切り」など、いくつかの書き方があると知って、今まで気にしていなかった言葉にも、いろいろな違いがあるとわかりました。 日本語って本当に面白い！

I had 2 months to study before a work trip to Japan. Through 3 lessons/week with Yuri, I've gone from struggling to say the simplest things, to feeling comfortable expressing most anything I'd encounter in daily life. Yuri is extremely accommodating, and her flexibility covering whatever topics or questions I had helped close my many random knowledge gaps. It also helps a lot that she's so nice & encouraging, so I don't have to worry about speaking awkwardly, which allows me to practice everything I learn even w/o a strong grasp on it yet. Making mistakes is a crucial part of learning a language, and if Yuri didn't make me feel so comfortable, I couldn't have made much progress. She always has games and activities prepared, and I enjoy even more the lessons where we just talk about subjects that come up organically. In short, I'm very grateful to Yuri for helping me make a lot of progress in a short time, and think she's a wonderful teacher, and just a really nice person to talk to.
