I was born and raised in Menton, a small town in the south of France close to Italy. As an adult, I lived in Paris for a decade before spending a few years travelling around the world. Today I am settled in Brighton, in the south of England.
I have been teaching French online for several years, full-time since the beginning of 2018. I was trained by the Alliance-Française Foundation, world-renowned for the quality of its teachings of the French language since 1883. As of September 2022, I have worked with 440 students for 4000+ hours.Показать перевод

You have a choice between 2 options:
• Structured lessons: just like a class at the Alliance-Française, but a lot more personal, and in the comfort of your own home. We will use colourful, modern textbooks that include audio, videos and interactive exercises. The goal here is to gain new tools and train together on using them at the right time! Each and every lesson includes reading, writing, listening and talking.
• Conversation Practice: time to practice! We can talk about day-to-day life, any subject that interest you, or use articles or videos as conversation starters.Мой учебный материал

French language tutor AcadomiaAcadomia is a french platform that connects tutor with students for in-person tutoring. Most of my students being americans studying in Paris for the semester, it was a good way for me to get a first proper experience and to improve my english skills.

Raphaël is great. He's quite attuned, so even when I hit a roadblock with the language, conversation feels easy. One of my goals is to be able to enjoy films and TV. He gave me a YouTube video to watch and then discuss at the next lesson. The video was the perfect length and level to push me towards better comprehension of more complex and informal media.

Raphaël has a wonderful approach to teaching. He uses a textbook and provides a very structured environment to ensure the student actually understands what they are learning. He helps you get the details right as you learn but also provides tips and guidance on focusing on the things you do know for real-world situations. Working with him already relives much stress and makes me feel that I can learn French!
