My name is William Camacho. I´m a language teacher and a translator as well. I have taught English and Spanish as a foreign language for about 20 years. I have expertise and knowledge teaching not only grammar or writing skills, but phonetics and Spanish and English speaking culture subjects. I like cooking amateurishly, and I like to watch cooking tv channels from around the world in order to learn some of the most outstanding recipes, so I can share the experience with my students. I write poetry and short stories since I like literature. I haven´t been abroad yet, but I have general knowledge of the world in geographical, historical, political and cultural terms.Показать перевод

I was granted a bachelor's degree in translation by the School of Modern languages, Central University of Venezuela. I worked at the above mentioned school in its Language Extension Courses, as an English instructor, where I gained lots of experience as a language teacher. Some years later, I started working as a professor of English teaching grammar and phonetics for the same school. I also worked at the IUTAV teaching English and English Culture and Civilization. I also taught journalism, economic and business translation. I worked for the Metropolitan University as a professor of English Advanced Grammar, and worked as a teacher of Spanish, as a foreign language, for Baselang, too.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
I am a professional teacher with a wide cultural background, which enables me to count on a very diverse topic range. I like to combine these topics with grammar and phonetics teaching. I also take every single students way of learning into account; this is to say, whether they are visual, auditory or kinesthetic students. Considering these facts will be of great help when trying to find the best way to teach a student a lesson. I am a very passionate teacher in what I do, for which I expect my students to be committed to what they want to learn, so they can have the best results. Para explicar la fonética inglesa a hispanohablantes es necesario dominar la fonética castellana, además de dominar también la respectiva gramática para poder explicar la gramática del idioma extranjero.

Además, en este periodo, se me exigió combinar las clases presenciales con las clases virtuales lo cual considero una experiencia muy enriquecedora desde el punto de vista profesional.

Profesor de Español como lengua extranjeraEsta experiencia ha sido para mí muy grata, puesto que si bien en experiencias anteriores había dictado clases en castellano, este nuevo enfoque ha representado un reto para mí, ya que las clases de Castellano que se dictan son para estudiantes de lenguas extranjeras. Debido a mi bagaje cultural y a la experiencia de largos años en la enseñanza de los idiomas, este reto que he asumido lo he logrado de forma óptima y cabal.

My lesson with Señor Camacho was excellent. He is a great conversationalist and a really interesting guy with many insights. We went to the frontier of my conversational abilities and vocabulary, which is exactly what I hoped for. I definitely recommend taking a class with him and am looking forward to more classes to come.
