Klára Pushin

Klara is an excellent teacher: very professional, extremely well-prepared, and does a great job of personalizing my lesson plan (overall) and each specific lesson for me and my needs. She adapts the plan and lessons as needed. Very personable, and also stays on point during the lesson (while allowing some time for side conversation - lets the student guide the flow somewhat).

I can’t say enough good things about Klára’s lessons! She prepares and tailors the lessons to each individual, is able to quickly assess the level of the student so that the conversation isn’t too easy or difficult, and seems to really enjoy teaching. I’ve done maybe 80-100 or so lessons on Italki and I can say the quality of her teaching is top notch. If you’re checking out potential Czech teachers, Klára should be your first choice.

I enjoy my Czech lessons with Klára. In the first session we settled on goals and approach. As the lessons progressed, she quickly spotted areas where I struggled and targeted lessons to help me improve in those areas. The lessons are dynamic and interesting - and just challenging enough so that I am learning but don’t feel overwhelmed. Klára uses a variety of class materials that help train pronunciation, grammar, and comprehension. I have increased my understanding of sentence structure and improved my writing skills.

Klára is an excellent teacher with a well-structured and fun lesson. I felt really comfortable to speak in her lesson earlier and I feel like I am making progress!
