My favorite hobbies are traveling, reading, watching movies and walking through the woods and mountains. I live in an ideal place to do it, so I enjoy it a lot. I like to talk about issues related to culture, language, politics, the socio-economic situation in different countries, the different travel destinations among others.
Mis pasatiempos preferidos son viajar, leer, ver películas y caminar por el bosque y la montaña. Vivo en el lugar ideal para hacerlo, así que lo disfruto mucho. Me gusta hablar de temas relacionados con la cultura, la lengua, la política, la situación socio-económica en los distintos países, los distintos destinos de viaje o temas propuestos por mis estudiantes.Показать перевод

I have been teaching Spanish as a foreign language for twelve years. I've lived many years outside of my country and, therefore, I know exactly how it feels to live in a place where a language other than your own is spoken. On the other hand, my experience as a student of English, Portuguese and Hebrew, helps me to understand the process and the difficulties in acquiring a second language.

My lessons are personalized and adapted to the needs of my students. I have experience at all levels. The classes address the four competences of the language (oral and written expression and oral and written comprehension). However, I always put the emphasis on communication and on the pragmatics of the language. I want my students to speak a lot from the very begining and I want them to learn the uses of language in context. Therefore, we deal with both "linguistic" subjects as well as customs and uses.
Humor is the hallmark of classes, for me, enjoying the process is the most important thing ... both on my part and on the part of my students.Мой учебный материал

Ani is fantastic! I am so grateful to have found her, and I’m excited to be working with her in my Spanish language journey. She corrects with kindness and patience. Her classes are fun and engaging and she uses different methods all the time. As she has learned more about me, she has catered the lessons to my interests. I feel relaxed talking to her in Spanish - I know she won’t judge or make me feel uncomfortable, even though I still have fear while talking in my second language. Through her classes, my conversational Spanish has absolutely improved! I always look forward to our conversations!

I wholeheartedly recommend Ani as someone who cares deeply about her student’s development path and who’s background in education enables her to make each lesson a memorable experience. She masterfully deploys multimedia tools such as google docs, videos and audio recordings to maximize the engagement and effectiveness of each session.
