I have been practising Farsi with Sepehr for more than a year. As a native English speaker, I can also vouch for his level of English which is outstanding. He's a real professional and a great teacher - thoughtful, knowledgeable and prepared. He gives me useful detailed feedback, corrections and voice memos in class, as well as examples and other class materials. He's also just a very nice person and easy to talk to. Highly recommend him to anyone looking to improve their English or Persian.

Sepehr is an excellent teacher. He is both encouraging and honest. He's been very diligent with my request to speak as much Farsi as possible but also speaking in English to explain things I don't understand. He's helping me set clear goals and helping me to improve crucial things to being understood and sounding like a farsi speaker, such as pronunciation, intonation and word use. Thank you so much! Sepehr is an excellent choice for tutoring Persian, whether beginner, intermediate, advanced. My confidence in making this assessment: command of English and Persian, ability to convey, and materials: Command – Sepehr command of American English is impressive. He also knows how grammar works on both languages down to the details. With these abilities, he can explain the nuances and efficiently apply grammar to both formal written and conversational levels. Ability – Knowing Persian and English in your head and being able to teach are not the same thing. Sepehr knows how to teach Persian at all levels. He teaches for a living, so it helps. Material – Sepehr has his own materials at all levels. Yes, other tutors have materials, but the majority are not produced by them and/or are “canned”, so that if you need customization, the tutor is a bit handicapped in customizing materials that are not theirs in the first place. I recommend him without reservation. He is also a nice guy.

Sepehr is a great teacher, very knowledgeable about language learning in general, and the exercises during class are perfect for acquiring each new skill in Farsi.

Sepehr is one of the best English teachers on italki. During the sessions, he is fully present and listens carefully to the students, noting their mistakes and areas where the student can improve. He very well and efficiently uses the class time for the benefit of the student. Highly recommended.
