My name is Stephanie & I've been teaching English professionally since May 2016! I currently live in Prague. After studying Theater in college & working at a tech company for 5 years, I felt like I needed a big change. So my dog & I hopped on a one-way plane to Prague and haven't looked back!
In my spare time, I do English theater in Prague, binge-watch shows on Netflix, take my dog for walks, explore Europe with my friends, & grab a beer at the beer garden. I love to travel & meet new people! I am also learning Czech, so I understand what it's like to learn a new language!Показать перевод

I think that learning a language should be FUN!
In my classes, I customize the learning plan so you are getting the most out of your time and energy (and money!). For me, speaking and conversation is the most important piece of the puzzle, so although we focus on grammar, reading, listening, writing, etc., if you don't feel comfortable speaking, then you don't feel comfortable with English. I try to help you break down your wall so you can be a confident and fearless English speaker!

-Our first class together will be a "get to know you" class, so I can understand what you hope to accomplish, what your interests and hobbies are, and what your current level of English is.
-From there, I create a customized plan, typically focused on speaking and producing, while making sure we have the grammar and vocabulary to back it up!

Stephanie is not only a teacher who offers super helpful instructions and highly constructive suggestions but also someone who is really fun to chat and share ideas with. I had an amazing time and learned so much every time after the lesson, and definitely feeling that I am moving forward to my goal 1000 times faster with her support.

I've just started to prepare for a job interview with her. In the first lesson, I was so impressed because she has already read a job interview guide I send to her before the lesson. Moreover, she is always positive and is good at making me speak and practice although I was nervous since I have no experience of job interviews in English. I could find the weak points I need to confront. Thank you, Stephanie!
