Hello there! My name is Mick. Thank you for checking out my profile. If you're considering learning or already learning Mandarin Chinese, and you want to find a native speaker to help you learn and brush up, then I may be the person you're looking for. I majored in English in university, and I've been using English for jobs ever since, so I can speak English fluently. I'm easy-going, detail-oriented and patient. I'm experienced as a Mandarin Chinese tutor as I started tutoring on italki back in 2011, and I know what aspects of Mandarin Chinese learners may struggle. I have the experience of tutoring HSK tests, and teaching standard Mandarin Chinese textbooks.Мои уроки и стиль преподавания
• Mandarin Speech Sounds and Tones class is mainly for Mandarin Chinese beginners. Mandarin Chinese is a tonal language, so the class is all about Mandarin Chinese tones practice and correction.
• We can do role-playing and topic talk in Spoken Chinese session to practice your conversational skills. Talk about whatever that interests you in Chinese, Chinese culture, history, etc.
• Chinese Reading and Writing is for upper intermediate to advanced level learners. We can focus on vocabulary learning and sentence structure in reading and writing session.

Spent awhile trying to learn Chinese with books and courses until found this site and met Micky. It was change like after walking for 20 kilometers finally catch a taxi. He is definitely talented teacher and linguist. Thanks Micky.

Mick is a super patient and overall awesome teacher. He took the time to help improve my pronunciation, which was something previous teachers I've had did not emphasize. We also did listening practice, grammar review and speaking practice. Finally, he sends an audio after the lesson to review the new words. Would highly recommend.
