I have been a language teacher for more than 25 years, I love to meet people from around the globe and show a bit of my culture. I was born and raised in Mexico, but moved to Canada and lived in Toronto for five years. Not only that, but I enjoy travelling and discover this wonderful world. Furthermore, I have visited almost all of my country, Mexico, and also I have been to distant places like China, Thailand, Dubai, India, Australia, Costa Rica Europe, Cuba, USA and Canada.
I am a mother of a 10-year-old boy and my hobbies are cooking, meditation and exercise.Показать перевод

I am an experienced English & Spanish teacher. I am passionate about helping people to understand and communicate in Spanish.
I personalize the program to your needs and special requirements. Likewise, I like to use real-life materials and examples and guide you into lots of practice. I focus on drills and examples, then conversation, listening skills and then writing.

Yolanda was totally flexible about what we learn and invited me to choose themes for our next lessons if I want to. She also let me know that our goal can be increasing my confidence as a Spanish speaker. I think that was very insightful of her. She is a very good listener, teacher, and conversationalist. Patient, friendly, and helpful.

I just had a trial lesson with Yolanda and really enjoyed it. I have never felt as comfortable speaking Spanish! I liked that she showed samples of how actual lessons would work, the various resources that she would use and recommended other resources I can check out on my own.
